BackupEarth has stopped working.

BackupEarth has stopped working, error. This error occurs when SQL Server Compact 3.5 SP1 failed to install on setup. This is a known issue on some systems and we are currently working on an overall solution.

Cause: The SQL Server Compact 3.5 SP1 fails due to the following:

1: No Internet connection available when installing the service pack

2: Microsoft website may be too busy to accept new connections

3: Language Errors, a service pack for your language and font is un-available.

4: Administrator / security rights are blocking the required download.

5: .net 2.0 SP1 is not installed

Solution:

1: Install the SQL Server Compact 3.5 SP1 Click Here for insturctions.

2: Visit www.microsoft.com/downloads and search for SQL Server Compact 3.5 SP1

3: Visit www.microsoft.com/downloads and search for .net frameworks 2.0 SP1

4: Ensure that you have installed the software using Administrator User Rights.
